Digital ID for social media does not make anyone safer. It creates a searchable, linkable record of everything you say, connected to your real identity. It is meant to discourage people from speaking freely.
When governments restrict VPNs, they are deciding which parts of the internet you can access, even though you pay for that access.
You do not need privacy because you have something to hide. You need it because those in power are always tempted to misuse what they can observe.
Once surveillance systems are in place, the real question is not if they will be misused, but when and by whom.

Please stop submitting AI slop code pull requests to RPCS3. We will start banning those who do without disclosing. There are plenty of resources online to learn how to debug and code instead of generating slop that you don't understand and that doesn't work.

@Sevku4 @ThatMetroidGuy And yes the desert and the bike are the very much low points only because they didn't really do anything with it, I very much understand that frustration, but for me it's not deal breaker because for me it makes no difference when the other things it does do well satisfy me.

@Sevku4 @ThatMetroidGuy Prime 3 is also omega linear, just the fact that you hop around from planet to planet on a loading screen which was substituted by the desert with the bike to pretty much fill the same function as Magmor Caverns in prime 1 only with a different code of paint.

There are a million things I could say. Beyond doesn't deserve the sheer vitriol it gets. We expected 10/10, got 7-8/10, people talk like it's 2/10. Not to mention had more marketing after release than before (genuinely what's up with that Nintendo??) I can't say I'm surprised.

Metroid Prime 4 has still not appeared in any of Nintendo's financial sales reports. Sadly that means it did not reach over 1 million units sold on Switch or 1 million units sold on Switch 2 in the past fiscal year.

@Sevku4 @ThatMetroidGuy I don't know really. I think it can be a 7, I enjoyed the parts that I enjoyed and don't care about the parts I don't because I don't think they kill the game outright but that's because the reason that I enjoy the game is not affected by the things I don't like about it

@FlenMelon @ThatMetroidGuy I agree i am one of those that had their high expectations ruined. But is there anything in there to give this game a 7? It looks beautiful and the bosses are really fun. Ice belt was great. Thats as much as I can give it. The rest of the game was disappointing to me.

Anyways my hot X4 take is that I actually think Jet Stingray's stage is really fun...
But it, yet again, highlights how X4 doesn't want you to engage with the level design. The Ride Chaser has enough health to survive getting hit by every obstacle lmao

I like Frost Walrus' stage, but it highlights how little X4 actually tries to push the player to get better at the game. The only thing I was rusty at was the mini boss but despise missing a few shots I still had enough ammo to destroy it. #megamantwt #mmtwt

@JCeacc @ThatMetroidGuy I mean, sure? But a game being a "10/10 GOTY tier" is completely up to personal preference if you think about it. Like no game is perfect, loads of 10/10 GOTY tier games have plenty of flaws if you look enough, and the more you like said games, the easier you can point them out.
