I think Prince’s “problem” wasn’t the music. Not the quality or the quantity. It was his lack of playing the game and lack of promotion + changing musical landscape. You can put out a Parade in 1988 or 89 but it’s still getting beat by rap/hip-hop and new jack swing

Au lycée, une très grande fan de MJ et moi avons procédé à un échange durant une semaine: je lui ai apporté tous mes disques et k7 de Prince et elle m'a apporté l'intégralité des disques des Jacksons/Jacksons 5 et de MJ.
