My wife (of 64 + years) & I have 21 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren (I believe that is "large number of grand children") & we are hoping for more.

As a former Catholic and current Protestant, I can say that a Catholic upbringing is typically a poor background with which to understand Christianity. Most Catholics wrongly believe that you can get into Heaven by being a good person. I now know that you get into Heaven by believing that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died for our sins. Being a good person and not sinning is how we thank and worship Him for that gift.
