The scriptures in the Holy Bible reads "thou also shalt be cut off". It doesn't say they lost their salvation or they are going to Hell, it reads "thou also shalt be cut off". And now it must be determined what being "cut off" means. Romans 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can read Romans 11 and still believe in once saved always saved God says they were cutoff for unbelief Osas proponents will say it's speaking corporately of the jews as ppl and not individually but that's just wrong Jews who believed in Christ weren't cutoff so Romans 11 applies to individuals and it's the same theme you see all throughout the new testament that if you depart from faith in Christ in unbelief you WILL be cutoff which means that salvation is gone until you come back to Christ Man makes things more complicated with false teachings like osas and tries to explain away plain scripture when the scriptures itself is clear Once saved always saved is a lie and a false teaching

The Jewish leaders of Jesus' day accused Him of being a King & going against Roman Law. They insisted that Jesus be crucified. However, Pilate (the Roman Governor at that time) could have dismissed their charges, but instead he acceded to their wishes (knowing full well that Jesus was innocent of their charges). So both parties are guilty of Jesus' murder.

And the Priest symbolizes old testament priests

The word priest comes from the word “presbyter” which the apostles appointed over the churches and instructed their succession. Nothing wrong with garments.

Jesus died on the day of the Jews Passover at that year (Wednesday). His Body was in the tomb Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday night, & also Thursday, Friday, & Saturday during the day. He arose sometime during Saturday night - not Sunday morning. He said He would be 3 days & 3 nights "in the heart of the earth" just as Jonah was 3 days & 3 nights in the belly of the whale & He was. Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. What tripped up almost Bible commentators was they thought the "sabbath" mentioned in the Gospels was the end of the week sabbath. However, the Apostle John clarifies that misconception by testifying that that sabbath was an "high day" (i.e. a special sabbath, not the end of week sabbath). John 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for THAT SABBATH DAY WAS AN HIGH DAY,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

I’m sorry, genuinely asking but i thought Jesus died on a Friday afternoon. Going by that and the fact that he resurrected 3 days after, aren’t we meant to be celebrating Easter on Monday and not Sunday?

The "early church fathers" were not inspired, & they didn't write one word of "Scripture"! 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
