Our healthcare system makes me want to cry. I FINALLY got a specialist appt. And he just never called. I followed up. Apparently they can’t see me till January now. I have had to fight so for these appointments, and now I have to wait for my health to decline further

@ItbeginswithZ The other day I waited 5 hours. The Telehealth call I eventually got was 45 seconds long. 🤦‍♀️ but thank goodness for Telehealth so the pain and exposure to bugs is reduced!

Okay they’re almost 4 hours late now, so I assume it’s not happening But thank the goddesses that I didn’t have to sit in an uncomfortable waiting room to find out (While paying for ridiculous parking fees)

Damn I’m glad my specialist appointment is Telehealth—because they are two hours late. In-person, I’d be agony, especially with the uncomfortable waiting room chairs. I’d also be exhausted from getting there. At home, I get to be comfy and get some work done while I wait.
