“Just bring in more immigrants to solve the labor shortage.”
Sounds simple.
But Germany shows how expensive that idea can become.
In 2025, Germany’s federal government alone is expected to spend about €24.8 billion on refugee and migration-related costs.
That’s roughly $27 billion.
And that’s only the federal government.
States and local governments still have to pay for housing, welfare, language classes, job training, administration, security, and social integration.
Some reports say the real cost could exceed €40 billion.
That’s around $43 billion.
None of this is free.
In the end, German taxpayers are the ones forced to pay for it.
Of course, some immigrants work hard and contribute.
That is true.
But immigration is not a magic button for labor shortages.
The real questions are simple.
Who are you bringing in?
How many?
Can they integrate?
Can they work?
And who pays the bill if they don’t?
Japan needs to look at Germany carefully.
Because once a country opens the door without a serious plan, the cost does not disappear.
It gets handed to the people.

- Marvel Rivals is going even harder on the male gaze with Hela's new uncensored skin
- The Stephen Colbert show is dead for good
- Mandalorian and Grogu is essentially DOA...showing that Disney Star Wars is dead
- The Odyssey movie is getting clowned by everyone
- Lords of the Fallen 2 is not an EGS exclusive anymore
- PlayStation failed on PC, and it got sick of getting clowned, so they won't put their gay/ugly slop on PC anymore
- Supergirl actress keeps opening her mouth, and that is ensuring that her movie flops
- Mel Gibson's The Resurrection of Christ looks awesome

Marathon is one of my favorite games I’ve played in the past 10 years, it’s genuinely amazing.
But it makes no logical sense for bungie to create a risky niche extraction shooter (no matter how good) over a money printer like D3 considering their financial situation

Sony spent $3.6 billion to acquire Bungie, a financially struggling studio on the brink of bankruptcy that owned only a single major game IP.
>Sony bet hard on Bungie’s live-service “expertise,” and it helped produce Concord, a $400 million disaster called one of the biggest flops in modern gaming history.
>Bungie’s Marathon project has completely failed to retain players.
>Destiny 2 has officially announced it would cease major updates.
Why did Sony drop billions on this, It must be one of the worst acquisitions in history.
