FloMo Choir

This Saturday was Phase 1 of the TMEA All-State Auditions and FloMo took 79 SINGERS!! It was a great day of music making and we are so proud of everyone who auditioned, refused less of score! These singers below will be advancing to the Region Round of auditions in October.

It’s back to school season which means it’s time for the first Flo Mo Choir social of the year! This is open to ALL FMHS CHOIR STUDENTS! (And any parent/guardian volunteers!!) join us Tuesday, Aug 15th for fun, games, bowling, and new memories as we kick off another great year!

Even in the last weeks of school, lots of things are happening at Flo Mo Choir! 6 choir students participated in the FMHS Fine Arts Signing Day. These students either committed to a music major or received a music scholarship to their university! #flomochoirforever #musicschool

Our posters for Pop Show are in! Tickets are already on sale! Join us May 4 and 5 for an "International Tour" of music from outside the US! The posters were designed by choir senior Grace Alfrey and the design is also going on shirts for the show! #flomochoirforever #popshow

What a week! FMHS took 4 choirs (and an orchestra!) to UIL and we couldn’t be more proud of these students! Months of learning challenging music culminated in some spectacular performances. Each group was musical, emotional, and full of passion! Now onto POP SHOW!!

Very special Monday at FMHS Fine Arts! Jag Chorale and the Chamber Orchestra prepare to play “the City” from @ola.gjeilo ‘s Sunrise Mass for the last time at our Choir UIL contest this Thursday. Today, we had the opportunity to chat with the composer himself!

The final day of our Jag/Chamber spring Trip has come to a close! - breakfast at the Embassy Suites Hotel - the choir accompanied a service at the First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth. - lunch and games at World Famous Billy Bob’s - tour of the Fort Worth Stock Yards

Congrats to these wonderful singers! On Saturday, FMHS took 9 students to compete in the final round of auditions for the Texas All-State Choir. 6 students made choirs, and 3 were named alternates! Congratulations on all your hard work and dedication to music making!
