Australia's Great Barrier Reef will likely disappear because of climate change, according to @Science_Academy. Just 1.5°C of warming (on track for 2025 at current emission levels) would threaten 70-90% of coral reefs globally. At 2°C of warming, just 1% of reefs survive.

My hope for students is that they use 21st Century Skills like Problem Solving and Collaboration (Microsoft Partners in Learning, SRI Int., ITL Research, 2012) to achieve great outcomes like this.
