@GiantHotTakes @_BodEagle I think the coach is honestly irrelevant in baseball outside of in game pitching decisions. You can’t tell me Dave Roberts is a good manager. It falls more on the supporting cast (3rd base coach making bad call after bad call) than it does the head coach.

The Niners holding out for an “astronomical” offer for Mac Jones speaks volumes, and says one of two things: 1) a tacit admission the organization has little to no faith in Brock staying healthy for a full season...in which case, why exactly are you committing $53M a year to him? 2) a stark indictment of the front office’s grasp of its own roster.
