You might notice the profile looks a little different. Austin_XRPL is now @FloppyX. My display name is now Floppy. For those wondering, Floppy isn't a random name I came up with overnight. It's a nickname I've had for a very long time and the artist name I've released music under for years. As I've spent more time building on X, YouTube, and creating content in general, I've realized I have a bigger vision for what I want to build. XRP and the XRPL are, and always will be, home. They are the foundation of this account and a community I'll always be involved in. But my interests and ambitions extend beyond a single niche. Faith. Fitness. Finance. Music. Personal growth. Creating. I've always wanted to document the journey and share the things I'm passionate about, and I believe building under a personal brand rather than my real name gives me more room to grow into that vision over the long term. So while the name has changed, the mission hasn't. I'll continue sharing charts, videos, opinions, ideas, and everything I'm learning along the way. This is simply the next chapter. one thing about $MARIAN (@ladymarian_x) is that it was here before the robinhood season even had a name. still sitting around $4M despite being the first token ever deployed on the network. to me, this is more than just "another coin". it’s one of the original symbols of robinhood summer and a piece of the ecosystem’s history.

@Bird_XRPL XRP is the FUTURE

One of the biggest mindset shifts on the XRPL is this: Most people have spent years simply holding XRP, waiting for the USD price to go higher. But many active participants in the XRPL ecosystem think differently. They use a portion of their XRP to participate in tokens, NFTs, and liquidity across projects they believe in. Since much of the ecosystem is paired with XRP, if those assets outperform in XRP terms, they can end up with more XRP than they started with. I've seen people do incredibly well. I've also seen people lose XRP. That's the game. There is real risk. For me, that's one of the reasons I build on the XRPL. My goal isn't just to increase my USD value. My goal is to increase the amount of XRP I own. If I can grow my XRP position over time by backing builders, communities, and projects I believe in, then if XRP itself appreciates in the future, I'll be holding a larger stack than I would have by simply sitting on the sidelines. That's the strategy I'm personally choosing. And that's how I think about the XRPL.

Just the monetization alone can pay well depending how frequently you post and what type of content. I’d highly recommend uploading your full videos directly here on X, Nikita has been talking about the algorithm rewarding high quality original video content and wanting to incentivize it on the platform.

Just enabled monetization on X after 2 years and it looks like I got paid for all my engagement over the last two years while I didn't have it enabled... Doesn't really amount to much- just a little over $300 a month, but more importantly it means I can now start experimenting with X subscriptions. One of the challenges I've had over my 9 years on this platform is finding a balance between sharing free content and actively engaging/interacting with my growing audience. When I had a smaller account I would respond/reply to almost every single comment and DM. If you were an early follower, you'll remember this clearly. As my audience grew, this slowly began to become increasingly difficult- not only did I have 10x the message requests and comments coming in, but a number of them were from people who, unfortunately, weren't mindful of my time and would ask repeated, unnecessary questions without taking the time to watch/consume my free content first. Ultimately, this meant I was forced to cut down the amount of time and attention I could give to replying to comments/questions from my genuine followers/supporters and I had to change my approach (for my own sanity). With subscriptions, I have a third option- that is to charge a small subscription fee for those who want to actively support me while at the same time standing out amongst the crowd via the "subscription badge" they would get whenever commenting on a post of mine or interacting with my page on X- increasing the odds that I will respond/reply to them if/when they have a question or comment. I don't want this to be viewed as a "service" (the sub fee would be too small to confuse it with one anyways) but rather a simple way to separate my "serious" followers vs those that are not respecting my time and taking it away from someone else who really values and deserves it. Aside from the focused attention on subs, there are some other ideas I have that I may implement down the road (1 personal chart request per month for subs?), but in the end this will all just be one evolving experiment to see what makes the most sense for me and my audience (if at all). I haven't turned subs on yet, but I am curious- does this sound like something you guys would be interested in/support?

stop overthinking it and pay attention to robinhood. whether this lasts 7 days or a year, fading it now will probably end with you fomoing in much higher. the vibe shift is obvious, and this could be the start of something much bigger. i’m locking in on the rh ecosystem like never before. take this as your wake-up call before everyone else catches on.
