What an achievement from @TuongMHo and the @research_hope , completely hormone-free ART with good pregnancy outcomes. Only possible with an advanced IVM system. Awesome - we have been waiting a long time to get to this point. Congrats!!

fantastic work @TuongMHo @research_hope . OTO-IVM (ex vivo IVM; immature oocytes from ovarian tissue) is a no-brainer for fertility preservation for a lab routinely running IVM for infertility treatment. Easy peasy !!

OTO & CAPA IVM | We retrieved immature oocytes from ovarian tissue, applied biphasic IVM. We got 22 MII oocytes for vitrification in this case. Really potential !

However, for COCs from <6mm foll, the use of biphasic ivm is more beneficial compared to standard IVM (Sánchez et al 2019, Akin et al 2021) #ESHREjc

Oocyte developmental status depends on gonadotropin (dose) priming, follicle size. #ESHREjc

Something that needs to be tried yet in the human scenario… Indeed, the concept of CAPA-IVM developed in mouse, was on oocytes from small antral follicles from Non-stimulated 19-20 day-old animals using IVF and went perfectly good. #ESHREjc
