Following the uplifting cup win by our young team against Bolton, we asked members whether they wanted the boycott on spending money at SWFC to be extended to attending the Leeds game. 82% of votes were in favour. In line with our members’ wishes, we are urging all Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust members not to attend this match in person and instead watch it on TV. The Trust has set up this GoFundMe for any fans who would have ordinarily attended the game to donate the ticket money to Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity instead: gofund.me/c28cc3c4 #NotAPoundInsideTheGround We recognise this is a big step to extend the boycott to match tickets, but the situation at the club continues to deteriorate. July’s salary payments were missed, our squad has been decimated, and there is still no visible progress towards a sale of the club. 🟡⚫️ Leicester City Protest – Important Information ⚠️ We are asking all fans to take their seats 5 minutes after kick-off to leave an empty away end with only a banner displaying a message for Chansiri - clearly visible to the Sky cameras. To ensure the safety of all supporters and due to limited space on the concourse (approx. 1,000 people), fans are encouraged to wait OUTSIDE the stadium before kick-off if they wish to take part in the protest. The club will keep turnstiles open as normal, and standard security checks will still apply. Stewards and volunteers will help manage a safe, phased entrance into the ground. Those who need to enter early —including elderly fans, those with children or mobility needs, or anyone uncomfortable entering late— should wait INSIDE the concourse. If you need to take your seat early but still want to participate, volunteers will be handing out black and yellow flyers to help you show your support from the stands. Leicester City will have stewards in place to ensure the safety of fans, and Trust volunteers will also be available to help where needed. #SWFC #EnoughisEnough #Latetoyourseat
