the one piece of advice that has stuck with me my whole life has been “if you cant be happy in the present moment, you’ll never be happy” makes sense doesn’t it? we only have the now, right this second. if we don’t learn how to be grateful for it, how would it make sense that it’ll suddenly happen in the future? i try to live like this everyday, some days it’s easy, some days it takes some work to get the mind right the present is a present
