I always think zuko was trying to confess his feelings for aang is deeper than camaraderie here but was content when aang placed him as a friend because aang wouldn't see him the same way he sees aang.

Он далеко не такой хороший человек, каким его считают фанаты. Он наслаждался войной до того момента, пока она не ударила по нему лично. Он ни разу не сожалел об убитых из-за его действий людях — только о своём сыне. Ну и он капитально забил на психические проблемы племянницы.
