Why does ideology have to be embedded in everything

Australia has TWO refineries and one is now on fire. Compare to USA with 131 operating refineries. If it wasn’t for activists, greens and rampant ideology running Australia we would be focusing on ‘Drill baby drill’, and the ‘Dig baby dig’ mantra.
