@miketgould @davehall1289 Yeah but there 2 sides to that look at chicago when they got bedard it was just him on team and the other young guys still coming up a year or 2 later and hes fine now you just need that foundational piece

@davehall1289 It's not that they shouldn't be rewarded. I just think generally when we've seen teams find success in the past, it's been when they've gotten their crown jewel at the end of their build to cap off an already strong young group. If you get the big guy too early, it can stall.

@FlurryTck Haha I want to believe, and I am extremely hopeful, I’ve just been a Canucks fan for a long time and as such expect it to go as it always does. If it does I will hope with all my heart that someone takes Reid or Verhoeff in the top 2 and we still get McKenna or Stenberg.

Life long Canuck, never quit on the team, never has wanted out (even during years of losing), does lots for the community & is the only player from the Sedin era

@NiqVelji We haven't been rebuilding for 4 years tho. And we should've been an i wont argue against the flames shouldve been rebuild since matty and johnny left in 22. That matty trade made it clear we weren't rebuild. Until we missed playoffs on a tie breaker last year
