@FlyJambojet Thankfully the passengers are safe. I must however express my great disappointment in the manner those who were to travel with the 10.30am flight from Ksm to Nbi were mishandled. Being bumped off the flight and keeping some of us waiting for 8 hours till 5pm is unacceptable!

Jambo Eddie, we understand the inconvenience this has caused you, and we sincerely apologize. The disruption was unexpected, as the aircraft experienced a bird strike while en route to Nairobi. In the interest of the safety of our passengers and crew, the aircraft returned to Kisumu for inspection. Following the inspection, extensive damage to the propellers was identified, and the aircraft was declared unfit to operate, resulting in the delay and subsequent cancellation of the flight. We appreciate your patience, and your feedback has been shared with the relevant team as we continue to improve our communication and customer experience during operational disruptions. ^DH
