@BernieSanders Bernie, Israelis don’t see this as “Netanyahu’s war,” including many who oppose him. For us, it’s simpler, the right to live safely and raise our children in peace. Hezbollah broke the ceasefire and started this round. That’s reality, even if it doesn’t fit your narrative.

Three additional B-52H “Stratofortress” Long-Range Strategic Bombers with the U.S. Air Force’s 5th Bomb Wing, based out of Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, landed early Friday at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, England, joining 12 B-1B Lancers and 3 other B-52H Stratofortresses that have been forward deployed to the United Kingdom as part of Operation Epic Fury. Spoke to a retired Marine about this today. Only 2,200 or so, two battalions, are combat units. The rest are Naval, air assets, and support units.

5,000 Marines are more than enough to take Kharg Island. Right now, however, the objective is to secure The Strait of Hormuz. Part of securing the strait requires clearing Iranian Offensive capabilities along the coast of the strait. 5,000 Marines can do that.

@missmayn the only thing worth considering is raising the property tax exemption value to make the first $200-250k of property value exempt from being taxed. that protects the most vulnerable senior citizens from having their homes stolen by the state, while taxing those that can afford it
