So, almost two weeks later, how do y'all feel about the Maggot King as a fight? Try not to consider the quality of the commons/uniques, just as a fight.
Personally, I was underwhelmed at first, but have come to really enjoy it with all the unique tech and itemization it has.

Almost every penalty is caused by the attacker intentionally putting himself between the defender immediately before the defender is going to make a challenge.
This is exactly why we slow it down in replays and look for any contact.

For me “soloable” just means don’t put an arbitrary lock preventing you from entering solo.
Mechanics designed for teams, like the ice prison, get way more punishing in solo but don’t insta kill

@TheoryWiseOS Nex is one of the best bosses in the game for the fact that it is, for the most part, unsoloable, and only very few of us have soloed it and even then it's not even close to optimal, reliable, or ideal to do so. Nex is one of the few places you need to team up with someone.

Really dislike these takes. OSRS has only a handful of group content. It's fine (and good) for it to have a bit more. Not every piece of content should be for every type of player.
Instead of homogenizing content, Jagex should invest in decent grouping systems instead.

The majority of players are trying to progress to the endgame, and enjoy endgame gear and activities.
On irons that means exploring the game, on mains that means camping 1 place
