Not a big fan of regular season conference tournaments. I don't know a coach that wants to play against the same team 3 times (regular szn, conf tournament, sectional or regional in some cases). Not a lot of sets left for that third, and most important game.

That happened to Jeff Sagarin many years ago. Cathedral was 4th in the state in his boys rankings, but a missed return code changed a 24-point loss to Manual to a 4024-point loss and knocked Cathedral to the bottom of the rankings. He easily found that error, too.

You might have noticed I had Oak Hill girls as a 641-17 winner for a while tonight. When I updated my database and personal ratings, that score shot OH (5-5) up to second in the state. I knew that couldn't be right, so I easily found the problem. The score was really 41-17.
