I love how @FoSBrake keep continuously proving how flawed their arguments against a new stadium is at the triangle. Put politely, I'm not sure they know their arse from their elbows.

@Stuartjamess @cbarson @OUFCOfficial @wwfcofficial Some residents in Kidlington moved here to get away from the current stadium. Why would they feel the need to do that? And does OUFC actually have to be based within a community to support it?

Being "pretty sure" and suggesting that all fans will drive, not to mention significant housing development in the local area soon, just doesn't provide a credible basis to assuage local residents' (me included, thx 👍) valid parking/traffic concerns.

Anything else you want me to point out?

Just took me 30 minutes to get from Marsh Lane to Oxford Parkway. How much worse is the traffic going to be when the Marston Ferry #busgates arrive. And what about the people who live in the flats overlooking the bypass and Cutteslowe school. No clean air for them !

@nickmanor @oxfordismyneig1 @ianhudspeth No - we're concerned to protect local green belt (Stratfield Brake and the Triangle). That is our campaign. Repeatedly asking us for our views on other developments so you can accuse of us hypocrisy is bizarre.

@FoSBrake @oxfordismyneig1 @ianhudspeth No need for cheap sarcasm. I've asked before why you didn't campaign so vehemently against the station as you are against the stadium. I'd suggest it has something to do with your prejudice against football supporters.

@duncanlowen Well that would be nice if it were true - preferably a planet where it's recognised that not everyone actually prioritises football over all else, and values the need for green space and clean air for our kids 🤔

@Tassieyellow @BrakeOufc It's the people who will have to put up with excess traffic, noise, pollution, parking schemes and loss of local green space that should be consulted, not OUFC fans living in the far corners of Oxfordshire.

@FoSBrake @BrakeOufc My mum lives in Hampton Poyle does she not get a say? What about Water Eaton or Islip it's not just Kidlington it's the whole of the shire that this monumental decision will affect and in my view for the better of all.

@BrakeOufc @rjc_oxon That would better than consulting people in the Orkneys, Seattle, Swindon and Sweden but the views of those impacted are most relevant.

@BrakeOufc @rjc_oxon Agreed- artificial and random lines make no sense. OCC has a duty to consult local residents whose live would be significantly impacted, whether they live one side of the Kidlington boundary or not.

@PaulMacca1984 @BrakeOufc Not sure democracy works like that. A fair approach is consider all those who will be significantly impacted within a given radius from the site. Bear in mind, OCC control the land not the parish councils and they must consult local residents fairly

@FoSBrake @BrakeOufc It’s a decision for Kidlington residents, those from Cutteslowe shouldn’t be involved. Cutteslowe isn’t even a part of Gosford/Water Eaton. You have to draw the line somewhere and that line shouldn’t be moved just because you want it to be where you live.
