In all my years of watching major-championship Sundays, I cannot remember so many top players missing so many fairways and putts as I've seen the last 4 hours at Aronimink. So now two-gloved Aaron Rai, whose best major finish is T19, is running away with the PGA.

@BenColeyGolf That was top class, whoever it was. He had the bottle that others did not. One of the great closing 9 holes in recent memory . People who moan about the set up have been used to seeing players just whack it with no consequences. The way majors should be.

He’s six-under for the last nine holes. This major will get mocked in years to come, we all know it, but if you swap out Rai for Scheffler it becomes one of the great closing performances of this generation. It does not get better.
