I took CS50 online for the first time back in 2017, and today I had the chance to attend a session by @davidjmalan in Oxford. A moment I never thought I’d experience, but here we are.

@RydMike @TahaTesser @ue_man @ulusoyapps @DisplayLink Can you think of any TB dock to recommend that does not use the Apple “Screen & Audio recording” permission?

@FonkamL @TahaTesser @ue_man @ulusoyapps @DisplayLink do that. With a proper dock I should be able to use them without issues using any of the monitor ports. I suspect you will be fine too with a good TB dock. DisplayLink is cool when you need it for more monitors, like M1 case, but yeah needs special hub and the SW.

Starting 2025 with M4 Pro 🤩 I need to collect a new set of #Flutter #Dash stickers 🥳

My previous M1 Air did not support dual monitors. To circumvent this, I had to purchase a Lenovo ThinkPad Hybrid USB Type-C Dock, which used @DisplayLink software and Apple screen recording to extend the screen to two monitors. This worked perfectly on M1 and M2 Max but Fails so badly on M4 pro.

This is awesome feedback! Applying your feedback, I tried connecting my monitors directly to my M4, and it works smoothly. I am now sure the problem is compatibility issues with the dock I am using. Which worked perfectly with M1 Air and M2 Max. But now I have lost all my dock ports and one additional port on my Mac.
