Nobody’s really calling out how MTN might be ripping people off… I’ve noticed my data finishes way too fast even when I barely use it. So I bought 10GB, turned off my mobile data immediately, and switched to WiFi. Just 2 hours later, I checked my balance and somehow I was left with 6GB… how does that even make sense? I hate when you genuinely love someone and instead of talking things out they just go cold on you because they’re upset. My colleague has been off since Tuesday, not her usual self at all so I asked what was going on… That’s when she told me her partner hasn’t been answering her calls or agreeing to see her ever since he found out she secretly bought land without telling him. And the craziest part? He didn’t even hear it from her. He found out through her younger brother (they live together). He called looking for her, couldn’t reach her, and the brother casually mentioned she was on site and the network there is kind of bad 😩 He confronted her, she admitted it… he ended the call, and that was it. Since then? Silence. Calls, messages… nothing. And honestly, I get being upset, but completely shutting someone out like that? That’s harsh. Why are some men so dramatic?

So this guy and I had been talking on Bumble for two weeks so we decided to meet yesterday. Prior to that I liked his pictures. Yesterday he came to pick me up (late, because he came from another city), unfortunately, our reservation got cancelled, I then suggested one of my favourite spots to eat lamb chops. We got there, I ordered my food, he ordered his too then I noticed he was struggling with the cutlery so I politely asked if he wanted help cutting the meat into small bites. He said no, so I focused on my food. Before I could even look up properly, this man had switched to using his hand to dismantling the meat like a technician 💀 Me: wawu, men like this exist? Anyways, I kept my composure (barely), and asked again if he needed help. He said, “Nah, I’m alright.” My brain: “Nah”?? You’re sounding posh with this behaviour? 🤦‍♀️ I just continued eating, Everywhere was silent He broke the silence: “So Ifeoluwa, now that we’ve met… do you like what you see? What wre we” Me: “What are we? Omo, we are pencil in the hand of our creator, Dickson.” 😪 In my head: What are we supposed to be when you’re eating with your bare hand in a public place?? 🙄 Anyways, we finished eating, then he said: “Why did you eat the meat like that? See meat around the bone… if you were at home, won’t you finish the meat?” At that point, I was extremely angry Me: “Oga dick, am I supposed to blend the bone and drink it?” Mind you, earlier that day we had a video call, I ate chicken and rice, this man brought it up like evidence in court 💀 He said, “But you ate your chicken well at home.” Me: “Hold on babss, were you even taught table etiquette at all?” 🙆‍♀️ I asked him, “So you want me to chew bone? During our video call, did you see me chewing bone?” 😭 Honestly, this kind of conversation shouldn’t even happen, but I was still trying to keep my calm. Guess what he did next? he used his hand to finish the meat on the bone and said: “If it was your money, you wouldn’t eat it like this.” Omo… I didn’t even argue. I just quietly signalled the server and paid for both of us. He started smiling: “oh, babes like this still exist?” Me? Yes of course… but I’m wondering if men like this still exist. Mind you, I had already ordered my ride before paying, so it came right on time.
