When my friend got married, she used to tell me how she made fresh soup and meals every single day for her husband. Even though she works, she still tried to keep up. She would wake up by 3 a.m. to prepare breakfast and lunch, then package everything nicely for her husband, who works remotely from home. Last week, I went to visit her. “What do you want to eat?” she asked. “I made very sweet ogbono soup a few days ago. Let me bring it out.” “Babe, you’re keeping food in the freezer now?” I teased her. She just sighed and said, “Hmmmm… you won’t believe it.” She went on to explain: “There was a time I was sick, and my sister brought different soups and kept them in the freezer. My husband didn’t eat any of them. Instead, he was going out every day to buy food. Meanwhile, he would bring out the soup my sister prepared, warm it, and serve it to me.” I asked him, “Why aren’t you eating the soup?”.. He said, “You know I don’t eat freezer food.”

There’s this cat in my area, I’ve never known who she belonged to. Just moves from house to house. Early this year, she was heavily pregnant and I would feed her from time to time. She even gave birth under our staircase and stayed there till her kittens grew. After that, she stopped talking to me. Would act like she has never seen me before and I had to move on too. Tell me why this cat suddenly showed up at my place today and she’s heavily pregnant again. I never knew animals were users.
