@joewritesftbl He didn’t play in plenty of games where we were shit. Doesn’t suit the sad attempt of an agenda though

As if they'll win a title because of a goal being ruled out that they literally built their title on. Football is gone man.

@StevenMcinerney @7verygood You’ve always moaned about people moaning about officials. Suck this one up. Correct call made at the end of the day

This league is actually a bit dead isn't it. Regardless of City or Arsenal whatever. It's just so joyless. It's mostly ref chat, tactical fouls, set-pieces, VAR delays, accountants and other tedious shit with only a handful of genuinely entertaining players about.
Colin Millar@Millar_Colin

A six-minute VAR delay with 25 replays to decide which of the multiple set-piece wrestling manoeuvres was clearly and obviously worthy of punishment. A fittingly decisive moment for the 2025-26 Premier League season.

@johnnyuo9 @MoArsenal86 @EBL2017 lol I got the block. He hates being called out on his contradictions but he shouldn’t mock other takes if he’s that sensitive

Victor Gyokeres… 9 goals in last 12 PL games - the most of any PL player since Jan 31. Shot conversation rate since then has been 47%, compared to 15% across his first 21 matches. Clutch.

@EBL2017 His mental profile is next level. Not many forwards can come back from the avalanche of negativity he had to endure during the first half of the season.

One of the worst recent analysis tweets you could find, misinformative on so many levels, yet puts this type of stuff behind a paywall? Riddle me that one

@nonewthing It’s clear from the replies that a lot of people have drive but lack purpose. So the question is, how do you find your purpose?

A huge and sincere thank you to everyone who has supported me as I take this next step in my career as a football tactics correspondent for BBC Sport. I started writing here for fun and it lead to this. To give back here are accounts I read producing top work: @FathalliMo — dedicated, consistent, reactive and immediate tactical analysis of game situations. @saundzo — uncovering football truths in a unique and insightful, novel way using non-football concepts for inspiration. This is how I approached my love for football from the start so I’m a big fan. @tekzts — great technical analysis. Manchester United focus. @htomufc — one of my best mates in real life. Wonderful guy. So dedicated. Unbiased. Simplifies his top post match analysis for a global audience. @GrationHarvey — Arsenal focused. Brilliant YouTube channel. Great grasp of global tactical concepts applied to Arsenal’s side, which are at the forefront of tactical tweaks via Arteta. @MeiaArmador__ — Broad football tactics account. Astute analysis. Trust his opinion on most things. @ConnorHolden00 — Chelsea focused. Very consistent, particularly on YouTube. Great grasp for the Chelsea game model. Good macro-tactical understanding. @JoelAdejola — big fan of his blog. Great frameworks for understanding the game. Profiles players well. Documents learning process inc when he gets things wrong. @CCalcistica _ — my favourite account for Italian knowledge down the pyramid (Serie B and C). Very knowledgeable. Might be missing some. Will add below if I think of any. Feel free to recommend more in the replies.

@rajsinghchohan work is of a really strong quality. @sthsthburner is one of my favourites on here for how he profiles and analyses strikers in particular. Such a keen eye for details like movement. @Bbebo_55 (Arabic) analysis — broad analysis with a Man City focus. Really high quality but not in English so perhaps some reach. I try and read it via the translation.

@nonewthing I don’t understand how you went from saying he’s cut from the same cloth as KDB and Trent to this. You even declared him ready to start. Did you jump the gun?

His problem is not talent. His problem is he can't handle any sort of contact without losing stability. And you need that capacity to play in the final 3rd.
