Ppl need to understand Q process 1st before blaming other sports & what not. India is currently ranked 26th in Asia. They were directly placed in round 2 qualifiers. Won just 1 game. Couldn't beat Afghans, twice. Forget WC Q. 1st ask why could we not beat a much lower ranked..

If the sports passport ever gets approved, one of India's biggest "what ifs" will be Manprit Sarkaria. That lone Austria cap vs Belgium in a Euro Qualifier in 2023 may have made a switch impossible. Painful, as Austria haven't capped him since and likely never will. 🥲
