@NJbcFan A lot of it goes into the school too. @OrinKerr teaches at Stanford - I think closed book exams aren’t really necessary for his students unless it’s how he wants to measure apples to apples. Outside of the top 100? You gotta prep these kids for the Bar.

@Tha_Vonz I think it’s less than that. I think their sole goal for next year is to field a team that allows Kon, Miller, Hannes, CAJ, and (to a lesser extent) Moussa to grow and be assessed. I think they’re perfectly fine winning 30 games if the roster allows them to do that.

I agree. Although, I believe the team intends to compete in the same fashion as last season. Not push for a playoff series win, but to try for an appearance. I also have no interest in bringing in a player of his caliber with such an outspoken personality & non negotiable style of play.

I don’t think we have any intention of competing this year, so with that in mind I’m Shröder or no one. Shröder’s value is outsized to the Hornets as a German to help mentor CAJ and Hannes. I think I’d rather Tre Mann get minutes instead of anyone else here (not joking).

Schröder is due ~$30M over the next two seasons, but only $4.3M is guaranteed in 2027-28. That makes his deal much more palatable to acquire at this stage of his career.

@wardamnbilly Great starter piece, Seiko divers are just about unbeatable for the price, particularly for a prospex like you have here (which presents nicer than a 5). As another user said, this is v a sport watch. If you wear a tucked-in long sleeve shirt for work, this is a bit informal.

@SMB_Attorney Fiji has like an almost sweet aftertaste from the minerals. Smart Water tastes clean from the filtering/very small amount of electrolytes. Dasani is a bit salty/metallic (hate)

@OG_BENJAYLATREZ We’re losing our size advantage at the 1 in exchange for losing our size disadvantage at the 4, so I think it will “look” like a real defense in a way it never really did last year. I think offensively the hoops will be ugly - a bastardized version of Houston/Harden ball.
