I'm looking forward to Contact in the Desert 2026, where we'll be exploring Infinite Realms. This year, I'll be leading Experiencer Group Sessions each day of the conference. There, experiencers gather to meet, share stories, and compare notes in an openminded framework. New faces, fresh ideas and unheard stories will be arriving on December 30th, 2024. Cosmosis: UFOs & A New Reality I've never worked so hard in my life as I have directing & producing this docuseries over the past year and a half, and I couldn't be more happy to share these episodes with you all. This series is about looking ahead, but I have to take a second here to look back. Back to my own anomalous experiences in childhood, my years in art & film school, years in cable television production, my own self-doubt, my own search for answers. Creating and directing The Experiencer Group, working with other researchers and experiencers. Reading, meeting, comparing notes...it's all led to this series, and deeply informed what it is. On another level, there are broader stories to be told outside of the show itself: about how a small team of brilliant, hardworking people came together to make something new and groundbreaking happen on an independent budget. I want to especially thank (now and forever) my excellent partners at Ontocalypse, Kelly Chase and Jordan Flowers. This has been a true collaboration on all levels, and I couldn't have dreamed up better people to work with. I love you both. There's so much more to say, and I will. RIP Emily Trim, artist & experiencer of the 1994 Ariel School event in Zimbabwe. Emily and over 60 others encountered a landed craft and several non-human beings, who interacted with some of the children. The event is now one of the most well-known mass sightings in history.

I’m starting Jeff Kripal’s new book “How to Think Impossibly” today and am thrilled to see a great mention of The Experiencer Group on page 62. He’s talking in these pages about mantis beings and my good friend Stuart Davis, one of the original co-founders of TEG. “Much of what I describe below is based closely on…conversations I had with Davis over the years…and with a most remarkable group of individuals of the Experiencer Group. The latter, led by co-founders Kirsten Blackburn, Jay Christopher King, and Davis himself, is a sophisticated collective of individuals from all walks of life who create community and smart conversation around superhuman experiences, often of the high strange type.” Wonderful to see mention of our modest group in print from such an esteemed thinker.

Reading correspondence from the Anne & Whitley Strieber Collection while at Woodson Research Center, which is where researchers can engage with the Archives of the Impossible, a historic project spearheaded by Jeff Kripal (with important day-to-day administrative supervision by Amanda Focke) at Rice University. Here, I'm reading a letter from a close encounter witness about an event that happened in Richmond IN. This happened about 2 hours away and around the same time as a significant encounter of my own that happened in Hanover IN, which I talked about on UFO Revolution. I was astounded to find this case completely "at random" within about a minute from 1 of 26 boxes present, at the end of a day directing for our upcoming docuseries The Beyond: UFOs & A New Reality. @WhitleyStrieber 📸: @UFO_Rabbit_Hole

Each day at Contact in the Desert, I'll be leading sessions for fellow experiencers of all modalities to come and share together, as I continue to do privately through The Experiencer Group. Whether you've seen a UFO/UAP, had a near-death or out-of-body experience of your own, have lived in what people consider a haunted home, NHI contact, precognitive dreams, the list goes on and on: this is an opportunity to get together with others in a non-judgmental setting to share stories, listen and compare notes. Please note- these sessions are for fellow experiencers, and there is no audience section of the room. They're held in a quiet and relatively secluded area of the resort, and they fill up quickly. It takes an impressive amount of bravery and integrity to publicly share a story like this. There’s nothing fun or glamorous about it. Jay is the real deal—a deeply compassionate leader who is willing to put himself and his reputation on the line to shine a light on the stigma and isolation that experiencers face. I’m proud to call him my business partner and one of my closest friends. I was really impressed with ep 2 of UFO Revolution. Parts of it really hit me hard in a way I wasn’t expecting. Jay and I will be recording soon and will discuss our thoughts on the series. But in the meantime I just want to give a lot of credit to the @TMZ team for taking an unflinching look at what whistleblowers, experiencers, disclosure activists, and scientists who dare to give this topic credence are up against when they dare to speak up. Here's a segment featuring me talking about NHI encounters and The Experiencer Group from this brand-new episode of "UFO Revolution" (on Tubi). It also features Garry Nolan, Mike Masters, Richard Dolan and Jeremy Corbell. There's even some archival footage of Travis Walton and Randy Nickerson! I hope you feel I represented the topic well. As you may be able to tell, they trimmed down my examples of experiencers, but thankfully left in the common TEG definition as someone who has had any and all kinds of anomalous experience. Overall, I think the producers did a great job framing some of the basics and doing it in a respectful way, especially considering the length they were working with. Obviously, these topics deserve much more time, depth and nuance in popular media, and I know we'll make more headway in 2024. I'd love to hear your feedback!
