The college basketball I knew and loved is gone but at least let’s keep college basketball for the college age kids

I spoke to RJ Luis’ dad a year ago and they knew exactly wha they were doing - turning down millions of dollars despite the fact that he was unlikely to be drafted. There’s no way this kid should be eligible to play college basketball. And he isn’t as of today after signing the 2-way contract.

@NYPost_Brazille @EvanRobertsWFAN I try every year to watch the NBA and I can’t do it. Unwatchable. Just because they have the better athletes doesn’t mean it’s a better product. The NBA knows the regular season is a bad product. It’s why they created a garbage mid-season tournament to try to give it some juice

As local fans we often ask, “why doesn’t WFAN talk more St. John’s hoops?” Then we get this statement from one of the biggest voices at the station (who watches 82 Nets games a year). So I think we’re good actually. They can stick to talking about the Giants offseason. #SJUBB

@Connor_J_Hughes It didn’t seem like it at the time but when you look at the two first year coaches in NY that Saleh should have given the offense to a veteran coordinator instead of a first timer since it wasn’t his side of the ball. Daboll didn’t make that mistake.
