My review on the CORSAIR MAKR75 TL;DR: I LOVE the design. Good sound profile, good DIY options, great build quality, available web app, and an okay price. Overall, a recommendation from me if Hall Effect is not important or necessary to you. A good mid-high range option for those getting into the hobby. --- Right off the bat, no, this is not a Hall Effect keyboard so there's that. But if you're one of the few who don't need HE or simply don’t play games that take advantage of it, this is another solid choice if you’re in the market for a mechanical keyboard. The MAKR75 is available either as a barebones kit in silver or black (silver is the better option), or as a DIY build where you select the components. You get four switch options: linear, tactile, speed, and thocky. I use the thocky MLX Pulse switches and I really like how they feel and sound. Keycaps & Switches There are four switch options: linear, tactile, speed, and thocky. I’m using the thocky MLX Pulse switches which have a 45g actuation force, 3.6mm total travel, and a 2.0mm actuation point. They're pre-lubed and sound great. There are both doubleshot ABS and PBT options. My kit came with the Silver Sun PBT set which looks great on the silver colorway. The texture is a bit more gritty than other PBT sets I’ve tried, but I prefer that. They feel premium and add to the overall thocky sound profile. They’re shine-through so the RGB lighting can do its thing. The font choice isn’t my favorite still has that over-the-top, gamery vibe but to be fair, it’s not too bad and seems limited to the sets made for the MAKR75. This is a gasket mount board. There is some flex, but it really depends on the plate you choose. The options offered aren’t super soft and you won’t see much bounce unless you press with some force. For more flex, go with the PC plate. For less, go with the FR4. Not sure what other plate options will be available in the future. Case I was honestly surprised by how much I love the design. The case is all aluminum and feels premium. Subtle curves mixed with sharper angles, especially around the screen and volume wheel area, are a nice touch. I don’t even mind the Corsair badge on top, and the smaller logo at the bottom is subtle enough to forget it’s there. Props to the industrial designer(s), they nailed it. The back is busier with a large Corsair badge, magnetic top feet, and a concave design. Not as clean as the front but not terrible either. The magnetic feet can be removed to let the keyboard lay flat. The case weighs 916g without switches and keycaps installed. It’s not the heaviest, but it’s heavy enough to stay put on your desk. Connectivity The board supports wired 8kHz polling. You can make it wireless with an optional module, but that only supports up to 1kHz. I was tempted to go wireless for the convenience, but charging would just be another thing to remember. Plus, you have to remove a thick silicone pad to install the module, which I didn’t love. I wish they had allowed for both. There's a web-based hub for adjusting settings, no software install needed. The UI is clean and simple, which I imagine is a huge win for anyone avoiding iCUE. Screen vs Volume Wheel You can choose between a small LCD screen or a standard volume wheel, and swapping between them is easy. I usually prefer volume wheels and even skip boards that don’t have one, but this one just isn’t it. It’s too tall, doesn’t feel tactile enough, and kind of ruins the clean look. So I switched to the LCD screen and just use my Stream Deck for volume instead. The screen is customizable with images or GIFs, but outside of aesthetics it doesn’t really do anything useful. Modding Getting inside the board is easy. Just use the included hex key to remove the nine screws and you're in. Everything else is straightforward to swap or replace. Corsair includes written instructions, which is great, but they really should add video guides for those new to modding. Weirdly, they didn’t include a Phillips head screwdriver, which you’ll need if you want to swap the screen and wheel. Price & Target Audience The config I have is $269.97, with the option to receive it pre-assembled or as a DIY kit at no extra cost. Corsair is clearly targeting beginner enthusiasts with this one, not hardcore gamers who rely on HE or rapid trigger. This isn’t the highest-performing keyboard, and Corsair’s own K70 Pro TKL covers the HE base better (though it’s not the prettiest). The MAKR75 feels more like it’s for newcomers or folks who want something premium and customizable without getting too deep into the weeds of group buys or niche parts. It’s also a good option for anyone already in the Corsair ecosystem who wants something that looks and feels higher-end without losing brand cohesion. Final Thoughts I really like this keyboard. Since I don’t play anything that benefits from HE, it’s staying on my desk until something better comes along. I do wish the screen had more utility - like showing a clock or performance stats - and I hope more plate options come out down the line. If Corsair released this same design with a Hall Effect PCB and switches, it would be a standout pick from a big brand that more people could easily get their hands on. @ForThePeopleEn1 @Newegg Bad card for me then, it's bad when I run heaven and my system has locked up a few times now. I asked newegg about a return but since they don't have stock they said I'd get a refund. So gigabyte or a refund are my options. 5090 Solid I had was better in every way - gah.

@UltraGearGaming NA release date? I hate that Lg never gives us the release dates and just keeps consumers guessing. Which is probably why so many choose Samsung!
