Michéal Martin played a blinder with Trump.He got plenty in,talking about need for peaceful resolutions,outlining Irelands peacekeeping role, defending EU& Starmer in particular,contradicting Trump about Churchill.I was expecting Trump to interrupt him all the time.He was great!

At the Irish embassy's St Patrick's Day gala in Brussels, there's palpable relief that the taoiseach just made it in and out of that Oval Office spray unscathed. In fact, people are quite impressed with how he handled himself (defending Starmer).
