Re: Iron Banner Drops 1. Hear you on drop rates for Auto Rifle. Portal drops/bonus engrams are focused on general Crucible loot, feels to overwhelm the IB drops. Some players feel armor is dropping too frequently, others feel weapons are too frequent while hunting for a perfect stat split on Armor. Won't be able to touch this before reset. Reco for folks hunting more Auto Rifle rolls: Spend tokens from Daily/Weekly challenges on additional drops. 2. Finite Compactor: Will be retuning in June. 3. Score bonus for wearing IB Ornaments: Ornaments currently do not count, only actual IB armor pieces - should be fixed for next IB.

@destinytrack @aiiygatorz I would play marathon if it was free like Destiny is rn but in this economy dropping $40 on something that has no guarantee to be a multi year thing just isn’t something I can afford

people will spend $40 to doordash some food 1 mile away from them… but making the decision to buy a $40 game, that people spent YEARS making, is FUN, and corporations put MILLIONS of dollars into, is TOO much. it doesn’t make sense to me 😵‍💫

@AboveTP @thepoolshark the fact that so much is still not feeling good in the last time people can play it for free will cause a lot of people not to get it. A lot of my friends played it over the weekend were on the fence like and they said that they weren’t gonna get it because of those issues

I don't think it's manufactured by any means. Bungie didn't do themselves any favors with treatment of the D2 community, initital negative reviews, and then the blatant plagiarism. So I'm not surprised people wanted to see it fail. With that said, I'm a huge extraction shooter fan and tried to go in with an open mind. I have 600 hours in both Tarkov and ARC Raiders so decided to give it a fair shot. The first day was not great. I don't think the game does a good job getting you invested in the gameplay loop within the first 6-8 hours. The gameplay loop grows over time, which is good! But it doesn't make a great first impression. Enemies feel bullet spongey due to bad weapons, TTK feels insanely fast due to bad shields, heat capacity is AWFUL at a base level. So at first, it seems extremely clunky and misbalanced. But as you get more loot, faction upgrades, etc it starts to feel much better. But because it takes a while to get there, people will drop the game before giving it a proper chance. I think with a bit of tuning it can be a really solid game. But I still stand by a lot of the original issues I brought up in my original tweet reviewing the Server Slam.

My favorite thing about the Marathon discourse this weekend is the changeup by people. The ones who gave it a second go and spent more time in are now coming around to the game. Almost like the manufactured hate wasn't warranted

Hey @Destiny2Team why is a creator given the positivity emblem telling someone to end themselves publicly? That’s against TOS and is a bad look as this person was deemed a pinnacle of positivity in the community. Not good

Started a fresh destiny 1 account today and honestly my favorite thing by far about playing it is that everything is still in the game Every campaign, every DLC, every strike, every location. Almost a decade later its all still there.
