And honestly, if microbial life does exist there, would we even detect it easily? Europa’s ocean is buried beneath kilometers of ice, completely cut off from the surface. People imagine alien civilizations and giant structures, but scientifically it would probably look more like deep ocean extremophiles similar to what we already find around hydrothermal vents on Earth.
