@ForensicsKuria @EricKigada Seems we are slightly tied at about 45%. We are an import country so is much of our transport corridor. We'd be better off going after the Ugandan market, wasiende th TZ way than trying to force a railway for local production which is nearly dead.

Mr. West, you are totally wrong and in fact your wrongness is across the entire framework. There is nothing you have going for you; no information, epistemic pollution, confusion of propaganda for information, no analytical framework, no experience, no domain knowledge, use of opinion sections of the media as analytical tools, circular logic, cherry picking, laundering of preferences as outcomes, confirmation bias, etc wrapped together with emotional investment in your preferred outcomes. Not to mention bad instincts which is probably worse than the rest. Not just on this issue but everything including domestic Kenyan politics. You just don't have the scaffolding. I can only hope that never in your life will you ever be in a position that is responsible for anyone's life except yours.

Thank you Ian, what most people don’t take into consideration is data, Russia went in knowing they’ll wipe out Kyiv overnight but they found out a resilient country. Today Ukraine is hitting Russian targets and the drone strikes configured. Look at the interception records, that’s where the truth is. Ukraine has outwitted Russia.

If somebody tells you that the Iranians getting their asses kicked all over the Middle East and being dominated in every single sphere of the battle space, except ground – and that’s coming, but not with our troops – means they are winning, he is either stupid or thinks you are. @townhallcom Don’t Listen to Idiots About the Iran War townhall.com/columnists/kur…

If you are trying to keep track of corruption under this government-you will need two things. May be three. (1) - An advanced calculator. One with a lot of computing power and lots of space for ZEROS. (2) - Depression medication. (3) - A frequent ‘refresher’ of sorts. This is important for context. For example- the SHA amount from 2024 at KSH 104 billion is just one component of the actual theft. You see, Kenya paid KSH 104 billion to rent a platform. We don’t own it. And - nobody knows the real value of this ‘lease’ - because the process was designed to be secretive. The vendor? Pre-selected. The price? Pre-agreed. The outcome? Pre-determined. Here is the thing. The government is already taking KSH 111 billion MORE from Kenyans for the next 10 years and sending it to a secret account, which the Auditor General has said they don’t know who has access to it. These are not the musings of Bonnie Mwangi after a long day of work. All the information is in the attached exhibits. So, there is another KSH 111 billion- over and above the 104 billion everyone is talking about. But that’s not the end. The real loss is in surrendering our sovereignty to criminals and foreigners. This country is on the hook - even after @WilliamsRuto is gone. If I become president in 2027 and decide to serve Kenyans better and efficiently- by pursuing another alternative, a real alternative, our country gets sued for everything we got. For years. In London. Here is a challenge for you: Find me one company- just one - where you could hold onto your job, if you signed something as dumb as this. Just one. The only way you sign something like that is, if you are the dumbest person on the planet, or, you are corrupt as hell. Mambo ni mawili.

Mr Foreign Object, sorry, I mean, Mr Foreign Minister .. You might want to sit this one out when it comes to lecturing others about “wasting taxpayer money.” Your regime burned through roughly $2 trillion of Iran’s GDP between 2005 and 2025 defending an chasing a nuclear program whose economic return is, generously speaking, nonexistent. Zero. أقل من صفر. Then there’s another $350 billion poured into your favorite “export products”: the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and a small army of militias across Iraq. All were total loss investments! And just for good measure, you threw in $50 billion to fuel the Syrian catastrophe, propping up Assad, prolonging the Syrian civil war, and helping turn the country into rubble, with a million dead and over 12 million displaced. All in, we’re looking at something in the region of $2.4 trillion utterly water over the past two decades. $2.4 TRILLION DOLLARS!!!😳 And you want to talk about waste?! My dear enemy, you and your collapsing regime are absolutely the last people on earth qualified to give a lecture on financial responsibility. This is like a rat covered in 💩 crawling out of the sewer to deliver a TED Talk on hygiene🤢🤮

@VinceDaoTV What a cope. The stealthy jet costing a trillion was acquired, tracked and hit without even getting a single countermeasure off. Maybe the Iranians didn't know it was supposed to be super stealthy. Marketing language and operating reality are totally different things Dao.

"Sure, we may have wiped out their air force and established total air superiority, but they damaged one single jet! It's over for the American Empire!" Yeah okay. Firstly, we don't even know if this is the real video. Secondly, you seem to ignore that the jet made it home safely. It ate the missile and kept going. One jet slightly damaged in weeks of operations and dozens of strikes. So yes, the F-35 is still "unkillable" because it literally wasn't killed. But when you're a third worldist desperately seeking for a moment where America got "owned," I guess this is your huge victory. The cope is insane.
Gandalv@Microinteracti1

The F-35 was supposed to be unkillable. That was the whole point. Lockheed Martin spent thirty years and four hundred billion dollars, the most expensive weapons programme in human history, building an aircraft that the enemy simply could not see. Not on radar. Not on infrared. Not on anything. The F-35 was not just a fighter jet. It was a theological statement. America’s way of saying: we have moved beyond the reach of your missiles, your sensors, and your prayers. Iran apparently didn’t get the memo. Somewhere over Iranian airspace on March 19, 2026, an IRST system, infrared search and track, the kind of sensor your grandmother could probably explain, looked up, found the F-35, and locked on. Not because Iranian engineers are geniuses. Because the F-35, it turns out, is extremely hot. All that engine. All that thrust. All that carefully sculpted stealth geometry, and the bloody thing glows like a kettle. The heat signature data Iran now holds is not just embarrassing. It is a gift that keeps giving. To Moscow. To Beijing. To every procurement ministry on the planet that has been quietly wondering whether to spend the money on systems designed to kill this aircraft. The answer, as of this week, is yes. And here is the bit that should really worry the Pentagon. You can patch software. You can redesign coatings. You cannot reprogramme a pilot’s brain. Every F-35 driver who takes off from here on knows, actually knows, that someone down there might be able to see them. That changes everything about how they fly. Caution replaces aggression. Hesitation replaces instinct. Four hundred billion dollars. And in the end, it was done in by a heat sensor. Tremendous. Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

One thing highly educated people in society like Professor Makau Mutua have done is to teach us that power corrupts absolutely. For decades he masqueraded as a human rights defender but the truth was that he was waiting for his turn to be the oppressor.
Prof Makau Mutua@makaumutua

The slogan “wantam” could be considered coded hate speech. The bile and toxicity of its speakers are a radical departure from Kenya’s political discourse. None of the previous two incumbents were subjected to such unfathomable calumny.

Aren’t all beaches in Kenya supposed to be public? All the way to the highest water line? Wasn’t there a ruling by the Supreme Court in 2023 to that effect? WTF is this??? Even beaches jameni? Is there no limit to the greed????

Coastal residents are shocked by the increase in private beaches in the region, which are under heavy police protection. They claim that the beaches are owned by powerful individuals in the government.
