A note about a small $15K Funded account I have with @FundedNext and sharing a personal note about me that's been on my mind lately because of people getting upset when I refuse to lend or give money.
I won this giveaway $15K @FundedNext account back in November and I've made 3 payouts from it (never received one of the certs lol).
From nothing, I was able to generate payouts amounting to $382.90. This should be proof to you that it does not matter where you start or what account size you have. What matters is your capability and skill. Get the largest account you can afford and lock in. If not, participate in as many giveaways as you possibly can.
Because you know what I'm going to buy with these gains? A $100K evaluation lol. Snowballing really is that simple.
My life mantra has always been:
Do what you need to do today to get to where you need to be tomorrow.
Today, as a Senior Data Scientist, I lead a small, but brilliant team of technical specialists. But you know what? I used to be standing in front of the broiler at a Hungry Jacks, 90 minutes commute away (one-way), getting more burns on my arms than the number of trades you've lost today 💀
Even my first serious job years later, I was a stapler boy and metaphorically licked the underside of the big boys' shoes everyday until I collapsed.
When I had nothing, I didn't believe anybody owed me anything or that I was entitled to anybody else's money.
Even when I was $135K deep in debt, I never took a handout from anyone or asked anyone for help.
What I did take was a ton of "hand-me-downs" 💀 and kept my head down working 3-4 jobs every waking hour to scrape every dollar back.
I did what I needed to do to get to where I am today.
No one is coming to save you. People think that others have a responsibility or duty to save you when you're in deep shit. But it is actually the other way around. It is your responsibility and duty to yourself to not put yourself in deep shit and expect others to bail you out in the first place.
As John Green writes in Looking for Alaska (2005):
Straight and fast is the only way out of this Labyrinth of Suffering.
So lock in - do what you need to do today. I'm waiting to see the future you.
