@Critical_Scribe I was 16 when I played FU and even I understood that Starkiller was lost in the Force. Even though he did impossible stuff, he didn't have a grip on what was most important. He was Vader's puppet
English

I didn’t like that moment at all, honestly.
I can get why people were hyped because they were controlling Starkiller to do it, but the moment you overshadow the main hero of the series in the prequel story is when I have some issues.
The fact that he even defeats Vader in this game annoys the hell out of me too. It lessens his impact in the series overall if there were people who beat him before present.
I especially didn’t like it in Jedi Survivor where they made him a boss fight. Yeah I know he won in the end but he still got tossed around and that once again removed some of his gravitas.

@nicholascarrigg @bytheblood Imagine being a tonedeaf pleb in 2026 making a terrible post like this and not recognizing microtonality as the true nature of music.

Imagine being a peasant in the Holy Roman Empire, hearing nothing but out-of-tune melancholic screeching like this from your cousin on Sunday afternoons around the hearth, and then, one lucky day, finding yourself in Vienna hearing Mozart's Symphony No. 40 in G Minor.

This a neutral topic of mine for quite some time.
What is the actual ecological damage of ppl stacking rocks?
I always thought of it as a few moments someone wasn’t on their phone but in nature doing something. Figuring out a puzzle of going higher when they can’t just ask grok how to do it.

someone explain to me why we can’t see any form of human existence from space? like surely there’s areas in earth that we’ve covered in concrete that are large enough to see from space

The ultimate view. Spying the boot of Italy and the stunning Mediterranean coastline from low Earth orbit.

@FortunaInvicta @jamiemcln Literally the opposite. People have already explained to you, and you’ve admitted that you haven even been in the U.S., but as a European myself they now lives in the US, I confirm that most of America is way greener than Europe. Europe was deforested centuries ago lol
English

@AlkisSkout @jamiemcln You seem reasonable, so I'll explain. It's obvious that America is much greener, since it's exponentially bigger than EU. The OP mentioned huge patches of civilization that can be seen FROM SPACE. EU doesn't have cities nearly as big as the USA. We're looking at ITALY. come on
English

@Lets_B_real @jamiemcln No, I haven't, but you guys have huge roads in a beeline and concrete jungles. Apart from a few exceptions, Europe is mostly villages compared to America
English

@FortunaInvicta @jamiemcln You’ve never been to America I guess

@MiddleearthMixr Paul knew of the Golden Path but he was too late to pursue it. It's a tragic tale of a dictator gaining consciousness of his own actions. All he could do was cast himself into exile so his son could follow the Golden Path.
