Non, Proton n’a pas bloqué sciemment les comptes d’e-mail de journalistes. Notre soutien envers les journalistes et l’intérêt public se démontre par nos actions. Un CERT nous a alertés que certains comptes étaient utilisés par des hackers en violation de nos CGU → plusieurs comptes ont été désactivés. Avec notre architecture zéro-accès, nous ne voyons pas le contenu des comptes et ne pouvons pas toujours savoir si une mesure anti-abus touche par erreur un activisme légitime. Nous avons revu chaque cas individuellement : 2 comptes ont été réactivés, d’autres restent suspendus pour violation claire des CGU. La revendication de Phrack concernant 8 e-mails est fausse : nous n’en avons reçu que 2, dont un le 6 septembre avec un délai de 48h un week-end, envoyé à l’adresse juridique plutôt qu’au support. Cette situation a été exagérée sans nous laisser répondre correctement.
