Last Friday, our Supported Interns based at Darent Valley Hospital had a Graduation Ceremony to celebrate their incredible achievements! We were honoured to welcome the @MayorofDartford, who took the time to speak with each intern and deliver a speech during the ceremony!

Our interns (and Senior Job Coach) took part in @FortisTrust`s annual @DofE exhibition with students from Bradfields Academy. Everyone who took part fully embraced the experience and walked over 30 kilometres in 2 days! Well done to all the students and interns who took part!

During Education Days at Forward2Employment, our Supported Interns have been developing practical life skills, including ironing, folding and sorting laundry, and practising how to tie a tie. These everyday skills help build confidence, independence, and preparation for work.

Supported Interns at @MustHaveIdeasUK have been celebrating #PrideMonth with rainbow-themed cakes, rainbow fans and more! 🌈 They've also built a lovely friendship with Michelle, the cleaner, who always checks in on them and shares a laugh with the group.

Crownwood Care Home recently allowed workers to bring in some of their dogs for the residents to enjoy. Our Supported Intern, Kasie, loved interacting with the dogs and supporting residents as they spent time with them.

Yesterday we attended @dartfordliving Live, a fantastic free networking event for local businesses and charities. We had some great discussions with employers about our Supported Internships and how they can get involved by offering meaningful work placements.

🥲 🫂 After quite some time apart, our two hard-working administrators were finally reunited and shared a heartfelt hug. It is a lovely reminder that behind all the emails, spreadsheets, and day-to-day organisation is a team that geuninely cares about one another.
