People out there really think it was the “failed physical” that kept the trade from going thru That the Ravens saw things that caught them off guard But THANK GOD they managed to scramble in a matter of hours to sign Trey Hendrickson & keep their 1st round picks Man were they lucky I wonder their reaction when they got the results that Maxx failed (since it wasn’t planned)?? PURE PANIC I’m sure

It’s been made clear by multiple people around the NFL at all levels that Baltimore had all the information and understood where Maxx Crosby’s knee was in terms of his recovery timeline. Many in the league believe GM Eric DeCosta and the Ravens ultimately just got cold feet.

Adam Schefter on Maxx Crosby's failed Ravens physical: "My understanding is that there were multiple doctors that reviewed his MRI scans. There were doctors that examined him, including Dr. Daniel Cooper, the Dallas Cowboys doctor that performed surgery on Patrick Mahomes and Malik Nabers ... many teams & players rely on Dr. Cooper's expertise. And Dr. Cooper was one of the doctors that reviewed the images where the Ravens then felt compelled to back out of this trade." Have to wonder if this connects the dots on why Dallas may have left the Crosby sweepstakes...
