As 7th draws near, here's a top 10 list for me personally, with a few double dips
1. Harold Perkins (LB/Edge)
2. Tristen Leigh (OT)
3.Falili (sp??) Fa'amone (G)
4. D Crownover (OT)
5. Deion Burks (WR RS)
6.Landon Robinson (DL)
7. Deontae Lawson (LB - why is he dropping!)
8. Dae'Quan Wright (TE)
9. Mason Reiger (DL)
10. James Brockermeyer (fam OL)
@lionbear23 Burks would be a steal, and the receivers can compete for the spot. He could be our returner (I hate Etienne as a returner) and our YAC guy.
Some solid players leaving. Durant, gone. Coleman Jr., a guy I wanted as a returner, gone.
Landon Robinson still hanging around. We could double dip at DT, and I think he sticks.
McClennan still around?
Mason Reiger, a guy who can work on getting better and be productive?
I know a lot of people are out on Perkins, but if we pin his ears back, let him play wide, and turn n burn n rip after the passer, he might surprise a lot of people as a third down backer...
There's quality to be had still.
I'm hearing 21 of 32 teams have petitioned to end this draft after six rounds
"we're about to draft a TE who didn't catch a single pass in 7 seasons," one GM said
Panthers do not address linebacker in the draft with what some called a loaded class. And they brought several in for visits with Dan Morgan going to a few pro days. Outside of Devin Lloyd that room makes me nervous.
Dan Morgan.
General Manager, @Panthers.
He kept pounding.
Sam trained him. He knows the saying - everything about it. He was there for the speech – and gave us damn near 20 tackles in the Super Bowl.
I have an old picture somewhere at training camp with Sam Mills’ hand on Dan’s shoulder.
