Browser History Examiner v1.17 parses over 80 different site settings from the Preferences file of Chrome/Edge. Our testing has shown that URLs can be found here that are no longer in the web history, so could provide further evidence of websites a user may have interacted with.

@DFIR_Zach BrowseHound is designed to provide a very quick overview of someone's browser history from any machine with a web browser and internet connection. For more in-depth investigations we'd recommend our Windows app, Browser History Examiner, which supports air-gapped scenarios.

In the latest version of Browser History Examiner we've upgraded the internal browser engine used for reconstructing cached web pages. This provides better results when viewing cached web pages that use the latest web technologies. #dfir #digitalforensics #computerforensics
