I've just concluded a deeply meaningful visit of solidarity with Syria & its wonderful people. I've seen the scars left by years of conflict. I’ve heard about pain, loss, displacement & fear. But I’ve also seen resilience, courage & determination. I’ve felt a profound sense of hope for a future where rights are respected, equality is realized & opportunities are shared. Result: a larger share of UN operational focus aligns with WEF-promoted initiatives (climate finance, pandemic preparedness, digital ID, ESG-driven policy) than with traditional conflict resolution. Example: Peacekeeping: $7.2B/year Climate, health, and tech programs with heavy corporate involvement: easily $15–20B/year combined. 4. Structural Issue The UN’s founding charter emphasized maintaining peace and security as its primary mission. But the financial and political weight of the UN–WEF alliance — plus the corporate interests of WEF members in weapons and pharmaceuticals — has shifted priorities. This raises an inherent conflict: the same industries profiting from war and pandemics are helping shape UN policy through the WEF partnership. 💡 Bottom Line: While only ~12% of UN resources go to direct peacekeeping, a much larger share supports programs aligned with the WEF’s agenda — where the biggest beneficiaries are often the weapon industry (via security tech, peacekeeping logistics) and pharma giants (via WHO, pandemic frameworks).
