Something just happened and it annoyed me greatly. This morning, my neighbor came to meet my mum to whip up some pastries (fish rolls) for her because she was expecting some guests. She didn't pay my mum standard price and basically just gave her barely enough money to cover ingredients costs, which my mum accepted as per "neighbor neighbor". My mum now begs me to handle the fish rolls, since its my thing and she was already abt to leave for the market. I spent 2hrs+ working on it. Neighbor comes to pick up and the first thing she says is "refry it. It's not brown enough", to which I told her that it won't be possible as I had already garnished it with powdered sugar– I had to do this because I forgot to add sugar to the dough, and I explained too. Then she says "isn't this too small for how much I paid?" And I tell her its a sizeable amount, esp with the amount of fish sauce in it and the labor involved (labor costs which weren't covered, mind you). She now responded with "the people selling down the street sell this size for 100 naira and its even bigger" That statement annoyed me so bad and I just told her that next time she should order from them, then walked out of the kitchen and entered my room. I hate nonsense and I'll tell my mum to not oblige her requests next time, or leave me out of it.
