I don’t agree. Garnacho is a very talented player, but he needs the right full back behind him to really thrive. Diogo Dalot would bring out the best in him. His support and overlapping runs could unlock Garnacho completely, and together they could form one of the best partnerships in the league for years to come. Chelsea could sign Dalot for a relatively modest fee of around £80m, so it’s hard to understand what they’re waiting for. Opportunities like this don’t come around very often.
