I think we’re all overlooking Saka for the value. Considering he’s £2.5m cheaper to Bruno, and I cannot see Bruno replicating a record breaking season. Better underlying data to Bruno and allows for a Bruno -> Mbeumo pivot, of course a better opening fixture also. No slander on Bruno, he’s great. Dan Ballard also overlooked. #FPL

I think we can expect it to regress but we also need to understand this crop of players immensely underperformed and quality players have also been signed since. Tonali/Fernandes will offer a lot by means of ball retention. Most goals Tottenham conceded last season were in transition from sloppy passes etc.

@FplVelvet Do you think that will continue this season? Last year in that sample, they were in a relegation battle. Right to use the sample but how accurately can we extrapolate the data

@FplVelvet While that may be true, they also just shut up shop and ground out results. De Zerbi won’t be doing that after a pre season

@spursleif Yeah I see that, but a lot to be said with Tonali/Fernandes ball retention. In a RDZ system they’ll keep possession well, I guess with Maddison or Gallagher also in there. That’s a caveat for the proper RDZ ball.

@FplVelvet That was before proper De Zerbi ball though, which will happen this season. They didn't take risks in his games, now they will. I do believe Kinsky is a fantastic option, but I expect more xGC

@matt_poulton Yep exactly, and Tonali/Fernandes will improve ball retention and winning in midfield

@FplCrisis It’s tricky, but it’s also all we have to use given it’s the only sample size under RDZ But to be honest, the whole team was systemically underperforming, so it’s fair to expect these group of players at flow state are far better than they showed

@FplVelvet Caveat to this you were desperately avoiding relegation when some teams took the foot off the gas end of season so using those 7 games for this season is tricky
