@dougokane88 Lots of clubs have over achieved from a low to mid table budget, with the right organisation, attitude & team spirit. It’s what Barnsley sides have successfully done regularly. To tell fans to accept there is no hope of challenging NEXT season is crazy during ST renewal week

@dougokane88 I’ve been the strongest supporter of Hourihane. But his comments on radio Sheffield last night have surely sealed his fate. Telling supporters that next season they have no hope of doing well again and the fans should accept that 23 games without a clean sheet is atrocious

@FPL_Dean Chelsea were terrible.. but if you want a 15 man bench boost, then getting three is pretty much essential, with so few doubling teams

@FPL_Dean Southampton v Arsenal will be crucial. Arsenal play their second team in the FA cup. They were given a real game by Mansfield. Southampton are a strong championship team. Arsenal and Newcastle disappearing from the doubles would hugely change things

@FplWhitty I knew I was wildcarding anyway so makes no difference. Highly unlikely that Chelsea & Arsenal don’t go through, then you’ll have at least one of City or Liverpool for sure. My wildcard will be the same draft but one with triple City and one with triple Liverpool.

@OfficialFPL Those using free hit this week are better off playing with 10 players or taking a -4 hit GW33/34 will be much more problematic. A bunch of teams double in 33 and then don’t play in 34 straight after. You’ll need two completely different teams. The free hit will sort it

@LetsTalk_FPL Arsenal getting beaten at Southampton in the cup is the biggest potential problem with this, as it kills Arsenal and Newcastle as doublers. But I’m similar. A WC32 looks inevitable, to BB33 and FH34

I know the general advice is to wait for the FA Cup results before hitting the Wildcard, but it seems inevitable for me in GW32, especially with a Bench Boost to play. Likely DGW teams: Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea, Brighton. Then 2 of City, Burnley or Liverpool, Palace. In GW32 I will have 2 Arsenal, 1 Newcastle, 0 Chelsea, 0 Brighton, 0 City, 1 Burnley, 2 Liverpool, 1 Palace. FH33 is an option instead of course, but Bench Boost in 33 and FH34 might be better for me.
