Now we have an aim indicator and we can shoot up down left or right! As of right now, i have if on floor, I cannot shoot down. I may change that later, depends on how the build progresses. I'm still debating on the ability to shoot through floors for certain platforms.

Very basic, but it's progress! Slopocalypse is being built in baby steps. I'm going to start working on the directional shooting for up and down now. That way you can shoot at drones trying to drop bombs on you. or if you're up on a platform, you can shoot down at enemies.

Progress so far today (sorry yall, I can’t make up my mind, I started building Slopocalypse in Godot, don’t hate me lol): - movement - jumping - shooting/bullet mechanic - test dummy that takes damage - lots of reading for methods and nodes/signals - controller support

@JackalBruit I like this! I probably needed to see this. Not that I’m terrible, but I could be doing better to show my wife I appreciate her. I know it’s not easy being a stay at home mom with all 3 children. Wouldn’t hurt to be a little more thoughtful from my end.

@JackalBruit I have not heard of that, but I am also the same way. I’ve always been that way, sometimes not everyone has any sort of positive feedback or even care toward them or what they’re doing, and sometimes, because we’re human, we do need that. I try to be that way with everyone 🫶
