We had a visit from Wakefield Hospice today to collect the money that has been raised from our Reindeer Run, along with the donations online we raised an incredible £2320. To all staff and families of Towngate Academy thank you, you are all AMAZING 🌟 @WfldHospice

Meet Freddie & Jude, our two very special guests starting the #Wakefield10K this year 🏁 In 2023, Freddie and Jude’s dad Tom was referred to Wakefield Hospice. Sadly, Tom passed away in April of that year aged just 40. Ever since, Tom’s family and friends have thrown themselves into fundraising for the hospice in Tom’s memory – raising a phenomenal £26,000 (and still climbing) 💚 Around 40 members of #TeamTom will be taking on the 10K this year, including Tom’s wife Charlotte, with Freddie and Jude taking centre stage come 9am to set off our runners and inspire them across the course.  Wakefield 10K kindly sponsored by The Card Factory Foundation
