Great to see vaccine rollout happening so fast in the UK but hard to hear how bad the situation is in my home country, Zimbabwe. Vaccines need to reach low income countries too to fight this pandemic!

#Covid19 is overwhelming hospitals in low- and middle-income countries – like Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 ⤵️ It's great that Ghana received its first doses today but it's essential that more are made accessible, and not just hoarded by rich nations. | @telglobalhealth @rashida_abbferr

Amazing to see this beautiful study from @JamieMcGinn3 and @MariaPAlcolea now out in Biorxiv! Had such fun working on this project when it first started and so exciting to see how the story turned out!!

Excited to share a very special moment, the 1st preprint of my lab at the @SCICambridge lead by my talented PhD student @JamieMcGinn3. We show that physiological changes in tissue mechanics guide the transition towards adult homeostasis in oesophagus. biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…

Most comprehensive single cell study of human lungs so far. Interesting cross-species analysis showing expression switches between cell types. Very important and elegant work from Mark Krasnows lab! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
